Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, and Hailee Steinfeld have formally announced their engagement.
In a combined Instagram post, Steinfeld and Allen included a picture of the Buffalo Bills quarterback getting down on one knee and kissing the actor beneath an archway covered in flowers.
11 22 24 was the caption, which appeared to be a reference to the day of their engagement.

Congratulations to Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld on their engagement! The Bills also posted a picture of the couple on their official Facebook page. and including a number of blue and red heart emojis.
The couple made their Instagram debut in July with a similarly subdued message, following a year or so of dating rumors. In a photo slideshow, Allen posted a picture of them looking at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and a picture of a woman strolling behind them without tagging Steinfeld.
On Halloween, Steinfeld shared a picture of the couple appearing to be holding an event with a circus theme, marking their first public appearance together. She posted a photo of napkins with the caption, “Josh and Hailee’s circus showdown,” but she did not tag Allen.
A picture of the duo wearing matching ringmaster costumes and another of them kissing while wearing a top hat were featured in the post from October 31.
Steinfeld and Allen were hesitant to discuss their relationship in public before the recent spate of social media posts.
When asked about their relationship in a 2023 Pardon My Take podcast episode, Allen played the part.
At the time, co-host Dan Katz made fun of the 90s sitcom Seinfeld by asking the NFL quarterback if he liked Steinfeld.
“I’m not sure what Steinfeld is,” Allen replied. The program? huge admirer. Allen made reference to a girlfriend later in the show.
In March 2024, the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star went with Allen to his sister’s gender reveal party. Last year, Steinfeld was also seen shopping with Allen’s mother, Lavonne Allen.
