Hinsdale Man Arrested on Felony Bench Warrant

(WNY News Now) On January 6, 2025, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported that a Hinsdale resident had been arrested on an active felony bench warrant.

Insdale, New York Andrew J. Greinert, 34, was taken into custody by deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office at his home on Mill Street in Hinsdale on January 6, 2025, at around 1:01 a.m. On the basis of an active felony bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court, Greinert was apprehended without incident.

Greinert was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail after being arrested, where he is being detained while additional court proceedings are conducted. He faces accusations relating to violations of court-ordered terms of release under New York State Criminal Procedure Law 530.70-3.

The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
