Taylor Swift visited with young patients and hospital personnel at a children’s hospital in Kansas City a few days after wrapping up her Eras Tour in Vancouver.
Swift was pictured on social media Thursday at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, smiling with kids, staff, and a golden retriever.
According to fan stories, she FaceTimed with family members during her stay and gave away gifts, such as signed Eras Tour booklets.
Swift also made films with her followers and posed for selfies. Swift commemorated a patient’s final chemotherapy session in one video.
In a different video, Swift stated that she would wait for a Swiftie patient’s mother to arrive at the hospital so she could pay her a visit.
Along with two other hospital residents, she reenacted a portion of the Eras Tour. They uploaded a video of themselves dancing and singing along to “Bad Blood” while Swift made a theatrical entrance into a room behind a curtain.
When one admirer gave her their Kansas City Chiefs-themed blanket, which featured the phrase “go Taylor’s boyfriend” in Chiefs red and gold, she even seemed to giggle.
Swift is having a huge weekend because this Friday is her 35th birthday.
Plans for her celebrations are still being kept under wraps, and it’s unclear if she will spend her special day in New York or in Kansas City with her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Additionally, Kelce’s hometown of Cleveland will host the Chiefs on Sunday when they play the Browns. Is Swift planning to spend this weekend at Kelce’s childhood home in order to attend the game?
Fans may get accustomed to seeing Swift in stadiums around the nation, but this time in the spectators rather than on stage, now that her tour is over and her calendar may have opened up. Swift has primarily attended Chiefs home games.
