Jamestown, New York (WNY News Now).A local man was arrested on drug-related charges early Monday following a routine traffic stop on Jamestown’s west side.
On February 3, 2025, at around two in the morning, officers from the 3rd Platoon made the stop, according to the Jamestown Police Department. Police discovered 21-year-old Kaleb D. Dean in possession of small clear plastic bags frequently used for packaging drugs, 2.2 grams of methamphetamine, and a digital scale that may have had drug residue on it during the investigation.
Following his arrest, Dean was transferred to the Jamestown City Jail and detained there until his appearance in Jamestown City Court. He is charged with two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
