Jamestown Woman Arrested After Threatening Victim with Scissors in Domestic Dispute

On December 14, 2024, a 23-year-old Jamestown woman was taken into custody for reportedly threatening a male victim with a pair of scissors during a domestic argument (WNY News Now). Sabrina Sample is charged with second-degree menacing.

Following allegations of a domestic dispute, Jamestown Police arrived at a property on the city’s West Side at around 8:55 p.m. on the evening of December 14. When officers got there, they started looking into it. It was found that Sample had threatened to stab the victim while holding up a pair of scissors with the blades pointing straight at him.

The sample was safely taken into custody and taken to the City Jail. She is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court on a charge of second-degree menacing. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
