Jamestown Woman Arrested for Burglary and Grand Larceny in Ellicott

(WNY News Now) After food, a laptop, and car keys were taken during a break-in in the Town of Ellicott, a Jamestown woman is charged with many felonies.

New York’s Ellicott. Bryanne C. Childers, 36, of Jamestown, has been charged by the Town of Ellicott Police with two charges of fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree burglary, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in relation to an incident that occurred on November 16.

Officers reportedly responded to a home after receiving a complaint of a previous burglary. Childers allegedly broke into the house, stole food, a laptop, and the homeowner’s car keys, and then fled the scene, according to investigators.

Childers was apprehended after authorities swiftly located her. After being arrested without incident, she was transferred to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
