Juvenile Driver Escapes Serious Injury After Crashing Into Tree

(WNY News Now) The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that a young male driver was slightly hurt in a single-vehicle collision that occurred in the Town of Mansfield on January 7.

MANSFIELD, NY The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office was called to a single-car motor vehicle accident (MVA) on Otto-Maples Road in the Town of Mansfield on January 7, 2025, at around 6:56 a.m.

A young man operating a 1995 Ford F-150 was involved in the collision. According to initial reports, the car veered off the road and struck a tree.

The incident appears to have caused minor injuries to the child. His mother took him to the hospital so that he could be examined. Because of the damage from the collision, the Ford F-150 had to be towed away.
