Lockport Man Arrested on Multiple Felony Charges in Connection to Juvenile Victim

Lockport, New York (WNY News Now)The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau conducted a criminal investigation before arresting Edwin J. Livingston, 39, of the Town of Lockport on felony charges on November 22, 2024. A minor victim was involved in the incident that led to the allegations.

Livingston faces one count of First Degree Rape (B-felony), one count of First Degree Criminal Sexual Act (B-felony), and one count of First Degree Sexual Abuse (D-felony). These accusations come after a report was made about the minor, which prompted the Sheriff’s Office to start looking into the alleged assault.

Livingston was arrested and sent to the Niagara County Correctional Facility, according to Sheriff Michael Filicetti. He is still being held until his arraignment, which is scheduled for a later date. The inquiry is still in progress, and more information will be made public as needed.

Lieutenant Gieseler is overseeing the inquiry, which is being led by Investigator Justin Birmingham.
