Man questioned in Pennsylvania over similar gun used in UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting, sources say

According to law enforcement sources on Monday, authorities are interrogating a guy in central Pennsylvania in relation to the murder of healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Investigators were interested in the Altoona man because, according to two people familiar with the situation, he was found in possession of a gun that resembled the one used in the fatal shooting on Wednesday, NBC News reported.

On Wednesday, a masked attacker who came up from behind shot and killed Thompson, the head of UnitedHealthcare, in front of the New York Hilton Midtown. According to surveillance footage, the murderer started shooting at approximately 6:45 a.m. before escaping into Central Park on foot and then a bike, according to investigators.
