Authorities stated Wednesday that the Wisconsin man, who reportedly staged his own death before appearing alive and well abroad, has returned to the United States and was arrested by sheriff’s deputies.
Before being transported to the Green Lake County Jail on unidentified charges, Ryan Borgwardt made his way back to the United States on Tuesday, Sheriff Mark Podoll informed reporters.
