(WNY News Now) – A domestic disturbance in Napoli escalated into an arrest on October 23, leaving one man facing multiple charges, including aggravated harassment and child endangerment.
Napoli, N.Y. – On October 23, 2024, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Allegany Road in Napoli, New York. Following an investigation, Levi J. Brown, 47, was arrested on charges of Aggravated Family Offense, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Aggravated Harassment.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the scene at approximately 12:45 p.m. They found that Brown had allegedly struck and spit on the victim in front of two children present in the home. This prompted authorities to file charges of New York Penal Law 240.75 (Aggravated Family Offense), 260.10 (Endangering the Welfare of a Child), and 240.30 (Aggravated Harassment).
Following the arrest, Brown was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail. He is expected to appear in the Town of Napoli Court to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
