Due to fire and burn risks, over 500,000 Charmast power bank chargers that were offered on Amazon are being recalled.
Charmast, a Chinese company, has received 44 reports of the power banks overheating dangerously, including four reports of customers getting burns or blisters, according to a notice on the website of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Customers are urged to stop using the recalled power banks right once and get in touch with Charmast to find out how to get a refund.
The recalled products should not be disposed of in the trash since the power banks include lithium-ion batteries.
