Niagara Falls Man Arrested on Felony Drug Charges Following County Investigation

(WNY News Now) – A pre-dawn raid in Niagara Falls led to the arrest of a 61-year-old man on multiple drug possession and intent-to-sell charges.

On October 28, 2024, law enforcement officers in Niagara Falls, NY, executed an arrest warrant at a residence on 18th Street, leading to the detention of 61-year-old Terrence X. Jones on felony drug charges. The operation, initiated by the Niagara County Drug Task Force, resulted in charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third, fourth, and fifth degrees, including intent to sell.

According to a statement from Sheriff Michael Filicetti, Jones was apprehended without incident during the early-morning operation. Authorities allege that Jones was in possession of controlled substances with an intent to distribute, though the exact nature and quantity of the substances remain undisclosed.

Following his arrest, Jones was taken to Niagara County Jail, where he awaits arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
