The city of Philadelphia An air ambulance transporting a pediatric patient, her mother, and others crashed Friday night close to a mall in northeast Philadelphia, killing one person in the automobile and numerous others.

No one on board is believed to have survived, according to Jet Rescue Air Ambulance. The patient, the patient’s mother, a paramedic, a doctor, the pilot, and a copilot were among the passengers.
According to Mayor Cherelle Parker, there are now 19 injured people on the ground. Three individuals had been treated and released, while three others were in fair condition, according to a spokesman for Temple University Hospital Jeanes Campus, where some of the injured were transported, on Friday night.
During a press conference on Saturday morning, Parker stated, “We can confirm that there are also a number of other victims who were injured in this incident, and they are being treated in area hospitals,”
Around 6:30 p.m., a Jet Rescue Air Ambulance carrying a young kid, the patient’s mother, and four other people crashed close to the Roosevelt Mall when it was en route from Northeast Philadelphia Airport to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri.
According to Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all of the passengers were citizens of Mexico. Officials have gotten in touch with the relatives of all six, according to the Mexican Consulate.
In a translated statement on Facebook, the Consulate stated that the required consular support is being given and that they are collaborating with the authorities to provide clarification on the situation.
The collision affected a number of homes and automobiles in Philadelphia, Parker said on Friday.
According to officials, the impact site “is roughly four to six blocks” away, and debris was discovered in isolated locations. The cause of the collision is still being looked into.
The patient, who was from Mexico, had been to the United States for “life-saving treatment” and was on her way back home, an official with the air ambulance firm told NBC Philadelphia. According to the spokeswoman, the child would be taken home by ground ambulance from Tijuana International Airport.
