However, the delivery driver said that stress caused them to dispose of the lot, not the Grinch stealing gifts. Around two in the morning on Sunday, a Lakeville police sergeant on a regular patrol came upon the swarm of gifts. Items were found "unattended" in a forested area close to 63 Bedford Street, the sergeant observed.
