Animal rights extremist wanted for U.S. bombings caught in Wales after more than 20 years on the run
Authorities stated Tuesday that an animal rights extremist who is suspected of carrying out two explosions in Northern California over 20 years ago was apprehended in Wales.
Officers from the National Crime Agency (NCA), the U.K.'s Counter Terrorism Police, and North Wales Police apprehended Daniel Andreas San Diego, 46, on Monday, according to the NCA.
Following San Diego's capture, FBI Director Christopher Wray declared that the suspect would at last be held "accountable" for his claimed acts of "violence and destruction."
