Skydiver dies in Louisiana after parachute failure

According to Louisiana authorities, a skydiver died on Saturday after his parachute failed to deploy. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office described the unnamed skydiver as an Asian male in astatement. About 25 miles north of Shreveport, at Gilliam Airport, the skydiver was reported missing at 1:30 p.m. According to the sheriff's office, he was discovered a few miles from the planned landing spot around two hours later.
