Prominent real estate brokers Tal and Oren Alexander, together with their brother Alon, were taken into custody in Miami on Wednesday after being charged with sexual assault in several lawsuits.
The arrests were announced by federal prosecutors in New York, but they did not immediately say whether they had anything to do with the rape accusations against all three brothers filed by a number of women in Manhattan courts. They have denied any wrongdoing.
Alon and Oren’s lawyer, Isabelle Kirshner, told CNBC that the three men had been taken into custody in Miami, but she had not yet seen the federal accusations against them as of 10:45 a.m.
A press conference regarding the arrests was planned by the Southern District of New York U.S. Attorney’s Office for 1 p.m. ET in Manhattan.
