Rock Hill Community Theatre Opens Auditions for Season 50’s Production of The 39 Steps

The Rock Hill Community Theatre is holding auditions for its production of The 39 Steps: Comedy Play in honor of its historic 50th season. This fast-paced, Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning show, which blends humor reminiscent of Monty Python with Hitchcockian tension, invites local talent to contribute their energy and inventiveness.

The Rock Hill Community Theatre will host auditions on Monday, December 16, and Tuesday, December 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. Actors who are at least eighteen years old are invited to try out for a part in this outrageous whodunit, which has four actors comically portraying more than 150 roles.

The 39 Steps, which was directed by Taryn Hoyt, promises endless laughter, risk-taking exploits, and a hint of romance. This show is full of surprises and dramatic wizardry, from shackles and missing fingers to an onstage plane crash.
