Snowmobile Accident in Stockton Leaves One Injured

(WNY News Now)STOCKTON TOWN, January 9, 2025One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a late-night snowmobile collision in the Town of Stockton.

Around 11:48 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the scene of the incident close to Munger Road. The operator, a 38-year-old man from Dunkirk, New York, was heading north through a wooded area when he lost control of his snowmobile, causing the incident, according to preliminary investigations.

To help, emergency personnel from the Stockton Fire Department, North Lake Fire Department, and Chautauqua County EMS arrived on the scene. After then, the operator was sent to UPMC Hamot for medical attention.
