South Dayton Man Arrested for Aggravated DWI in Hanover

(WNY News Now) A South Dayton man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a late-night traffic check in the Town of Hanover.

Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident on Hanford Road in the Town of Hanover on January 8, 2025, at around 11:07 PM. After conducting an investigation, investigators concluded that David A. Reynolds, 33, of South Dayton, New York, had been driving while intoxicated.

Following his arrest, Reynolds was accused of both driving while intoxicated (DWI) and aggravated driving while intoxicated (DWI). Because of the degree of impairment, the charges are more serious.

Reynolds will eventually appear in Town of Hanover Court to respond to the accusations. The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
