(WNY News Now) Three people were arrested and charged with several felonies after Buffalo police officers found a loaded ghost pistol and extra ammunition during a traffic check.
Buffalo, New York During a car stop on Saturday night, Buffalo Police Department officers found a loaded AR-style ghost gun with a drum magazine and extra ammunition. Three people are now being charged with weapons-related offenses.
Officers from the E District began a traffic stop at the junction of Olympic and E Delavan Avenues at around 8:15 p.m. on December 14. Inside the car, officers saw an open bottle of wine and burning marijuana in plain sight. A loaded ghost gun handgun with 24 rounds in a drum magazine and extra ammunition were found after more examination.
Three people were taken into custody at the scene: Joshiatu Mansaray, 21, of Buffalo; Jaki Boling, 21 of Buffalo; and Marquise Williams, 21 of Niagara Falls. Each of the three was accused of:

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree
(NYS PL 265.03-3, a class C felony)

Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree
(NYS PL 265.02-8, a class D felony) -
Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree
(NYS PL 265.01-9, a class A misdemeanor)
Mansaray is also charged with inadequate lighting equipment (VTL 375-2A1) and drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle (VTL 1227-1).
Boling is also accused of crimes connected to a previous incident on July 4, 2024, in which police found a loaded Polymer 80 ghost pistol and a loaded Smith & Wesson.38 Special revolver on Buffalo’s Newburgh Avenue.
The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
