Three Arrested Following Repeated Disturbances at Jamestown Residence

Jamestown, New York (WNY News Now)Officers responded four times in three hours to a Northside residence for reports of noise, disorderly conduct, and domestic disputes, leading to the arrest of three people early Wednesday morning.

Officers first showed up at the scene on January 29 at 12:33 a.m. after receiving a noise complaint, according to the Jamestown Police Department. According to the City of Jamestown’s code, residents Joseph B. Connolly, 20, and Margaret A. Connolly, 47, were given appearance tickets and cited for making unnecessary noise.

Officers were called back to the house at around 2:13 a.m. after receiving complaints of a disturbed individual. After an inquiry, Margaret Connolly was charged with second-degree harassment for allegedly threatening a male victim. The Jamestown City Jail was where she was taken.

Officers returned less than an hour later at 3:12 a.m. and found that 21-year-old Illinois D. Jackson had broken an order of protection by entering the house. Jackson was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

At 3:35 a.m., officers were finally summoned back to the house after hearing a lady yelling for assistance. Officers discovered that Joseph Connolly had reportedly pushed a female victim, resulting in minor facial injuries, upon their arrival. He was taken into custody and accused of third-degree assault.

All three were detained until their arraignments in Jamestown City Court.The accused is deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, just like everyone else who is accused of a crime.
