LONDON—Months after completing chemotherapy, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, announced Tuesday that her cancer is in remission.
The wife of the heir to the throne, Prince William, posted on Instagram, “I am relieved to be in remission now and I am still focused on recovery.”
Anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer knows that acclimating to a new normal takes time. But, she continued, “I am looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.” There’s a lot to anticipate. We appreciate everyone’s ongoing assistance.
In a March video, the princess disclosed that she had cancer. She stated at the time that, under the recommendation of her medical staff, she was taking a course of prophylactic chemotherapy.
