The search for the individual who shot and killed UnitedHealthcare’s CEO is still ongoing. Images of the individual wanted in connection with Brian Thompson’s murder were made public by New York police. The man is shown wearing a black jacket and has a mask covering half of his face. He fled the scene on an e-bike and was last seen in Central Park.

According to police, the incident outside the Hilton hotel in midtown Manhattan seems to be a planned, deliberate targeted strike. According to Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, the gunman came up behind Thompson, 50, who was en route to speak at UnitedHealth Group’s investor meeting, and fired multiple rounds.The shooting was captured on the incident’s security footage.
Joseph Kenny, chief of detectives, reaffirmed that although the attack was targeted, the purpose behind the shooting is unknown to the authorities. Paulette Thompson, Thompson’s wife, said that her husband had been threatened. Thompson did not go with a security detail in spite of the reported threats against him.
According to a senior law enforcement officer, shell casings discovered at the scene were scrawled with the phrases “deny, defend, and depose.”

The focus is on a 2023 podcast interview with fellow Trump supporter Steve Bannon and Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for FBI director.
